This page covers fairdataco.com: the waitlist, our server logs and Google Analytics. It is not a policy for the data you may sell through us later; that will have its own terms.

If you join the waitlist

We store your email address, when you joined, the country your connection comes from, and where you came from: the page that linked you here (without its query string), the page you landed on, and any campaign tags in the link (utm_source and similar). We use it only to tell you when we open and to understand which channels bring people. We don't sell it or share it. To be removed, write to hello@fairdataco.com.

Server logs

Our hosting (Amazon CloudFront) records each request: the page, time, country, browser and the referring page. We leave IP addresses and cookies out of these logs. We keep them for up to 400 days to count visits and fix problems.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how people find and use this site. It sets cookies to tell visits apart. We don't use advertising cookies. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland start with analytics cookies off and are asked first; everyone else can switch them off here. Google's own practices are described at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
